He is currently working on his memoirs of growing up in Mainland Ecuador, Santa Cruz – Galápagos Islands, and Greenwich, CT, which he plans to publish in the Fall of 2020.
He grew up in Cos Cob, Connecticut, brought his family up in Riverside, Connecticut and now resides in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, with his wife Evelyn (née Tyrrell). They have two children: Elizabeth Maeve, and Kieran David. His first grandchild, Bridget Leigh, just turned 2 years old and another grandchild is on the way.
He received a BS in Business Administration from Charter Oak College and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Pace University, Lubin School of Business. He worked in a fortune 500 corporation for 30 years, then a non-profit for 16 years, and finally is retired and planning on how to contribute while retired and writing.
He devotes his time between the grandchildren, hiking, web building, social media marketing, and writing a memoir of growing up in Ecuador and Galápagos Islands titled “One Chance Encounter”.
His motto is:
“I can’t save the whole world but I can save my little corner”
“The circle is small but very strong and it keeps on growing”
There is a lot of work to be done to ensure all the members of our community are safe and strong as they get older. I have no illusions that the path will be easy, but it will be fun if we all stick together.
